Detached holiday house in Caldè (Castelveccana) with a delightful garden and splendid views over the beautiful Lake Maggiore, Italy.

This charming private home sleeps up to 5 people. It comprises a tastefully decorated living room with open fireplace, flatscreen satellite TV and wireless internet, a separate, fully-equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms (with the possibility of adding one extra single bed, and a bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower.

Outside you’ll find a spacious covered terrace for al fresco dining, and a sunny, lawned garden with hammock overlooking the lake, lovingly maintained and designed with various exotic flowers and trees, shady corners and pathways. There is also a relaxing outdoor Jacuzzi and gazebo with beautiful views over the lake. A superb 'la dolce vita' vacation home!

Within walking distance (300m) of the house is a cute little beach where you can lazily bask in the sun or take a refreshing swim in the cooling waters of the lake. The charming village of Caldè is nearby (1 km) with its pretty marina, and where you can also find a supermarket and a number of local restaurants.

Peacefully situated close to Caldè, Castelveccana, it's only 5 km from Laveno - part of the 'golden triangle' of Lake Maggiore (Laveno, Verbania, Stresa), where you'll find a beautiful lakefront promenade, a variety of shops and tempting restaurants. From here you can hop on any ferry and explore the lake at your leisure (regular schedule towards Verbania, Stresa and the Borromeo islands). The Laveno railway station connects you easily with Milan city centre and the Provincial town of Varese. The lively, waterfront town of Luino is located only 11 km away, boasting the largest open market of Northern Italy. In addition to the many water sport possibilities offered by the lake, be sure not to miss the great opportunities for mountain biking, road cycling or trekking in the nearby mountains.
