B&B Calde - Lake Maggiore

Bed & breakfast with delightful garden and beautiful lake views over Lake Maggiore.

Two double bedrooms available (with the possibility of adding one single bed) in a charming private home where the owners live on site and offer a quality bed and breakfast service. They provide a tastefully decorated living room with an open fireplace, flatscreen satellite TV and wireless internet, and a separate fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom with shower and bathtub is shared with the owners.

Outside, there is a spacious terrace and patio for 'alfresco' dining, a sunny, lawned garden overlooking the lake, lovingly maintained and designed, with various exotic flowers and trees, shady corners and pathways. Perfect for enjoying 'la dolce vita' in the garden's hammock or sun loungers, and the outdoor Jacuzzi!

Within walking distance (300m) there's a charming little beach where you can relax, bask lazily in the sun or take a refreshing swim in cool waters of the lake. The charming village of Caldè is nearby (1 km) with a supermarket and a variety of restaurants.

Situated only 5 km from Laveno, part of the 'golden triangle' of Lake Maggiore (Laveno, Verbania, Stresa), you'll find a beautiful lakefront promenade, shops and tempting restaurants. From there you can hop on any ferry to explore the delights of the lake (regular schedule towards Verbania, Stresa and the Borromeo islands) . The railway station connects you easily with Milan city centre. The lively lakeside town of Luino is located only 11 km away, and boasts the largest open market of Northern Italy. In addition to the many water sports offered by the lake, be sure not to miss the great opportunities for mountain biking, road biking or trekking in the nearby mountains.
