Very charming house in the historic center of the lakeside village Lesa at Lake Maggiore, Italy.

If you were ever wondering what exactly does "charming" mean, then here's your answer: private home in the narrow and cobbled streets of the suggestive little village Lesa. The region has been transformed from a fishermen’s village into a stylish resort with prestigious villas but the center has kept its authentic charm with lots of boats, a lovely quay, narrow streets and restaurants.

This holiday house (160 m²) offers accommodation for 6 people composed over 3 levels: from the arched entrance you enter in a lounge area with bookcase, electronic keyboard, CD player, and a large fireplace. The first floor consists of a stylish living room with exposed wooden beams, a double sofa bed, fireplace and TV. Dining room and charming separate kitchen equipped with all modern conveniences. Bathroom with shower. A stairway leads up to the second floor in a veranda, from where you access from one side the terrace and from the other side the two bedrooms: one double and one twin bedroom. Bathroom with tub and overhead shower. The second floor has air conditioning.

The terrace is situated in between the surrounding houses and has an outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining. In the deck chairs you can doze off and enjoy your relaxing vacation in this typical Italian home full of character.

This vacation house is located in Lesa in easy walking distance of the lake and close to all main tourist attractions of Lago Maggiore. No need for a car as it’s only 100m away from the ferry station and 700m from the train station. The nearby residential area of Solcio di Lesa is dotted with nice small beaches and there is a sports club (1km) with fitness center, large outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. Half-way between Arona and Stresa (9 km), it’s the ideal starting point for exploring Lake Maggiore, its magical islands and its natural beauty from Italy to Switzerland.
