PLANNING YOUR HOLIDAY

We have added a “Regional information” section for each property listed where you can find information about activities, sights and culinary tips in the region.

Make your choice between:

• Holiday villas, houses or apartments: This self-catering option is an ideal way to enjoy, either a relaxing or active holiday and explore the region. They can be rented for many different combinations of time periods and make interesting and practical alternatives to hotels.


• Bed & Breakfasts: Charming, small places offering romantic experiences coupled with authentic Italian hospitality and homemade breakfasts.


• Agriturismo: These are the latest trend in tourism and very popular in Italy (Agriturismo is a combination of the words for "agriculture" and "tourism" in Italian). They are usually based around an old farm and visitors can sample locally made wines, olive oil, cheeses, fruit, and even meat from the farms’ own livestock, in addition to good quality and authentic Italian cuisine. Some of these special guest-houses also allow guests to participate in activities surrounding the farm such as horse riding, mountain biking, wine tasting, or cookery courses. Despite the typically remote, rural locations of these lodgings, many agriturismi also have luxurious en suite accommodation, swimming pools and Jacuzzis.

BOOKING PROCEDURE
Click on the booking tab by each property listed (if applicable be sure to choose a room/apartment first): you will then enter the availability calendar. Select your preferred dates and hit “make booking request”. An email will then automatically be sent to you summarizing your booking request.

In order to avoid overbooking we will double check the availability with the property owner. Upon the confirmation of availability a deposit will need to be paid.

HOW TO CONFIRM A RESERVATION
Once we have confirmed the availability for the dates requested, a deposit will need to be paid to approve the reservation. This deposit varies between 20 and 50 %, depending on the property owner and needs to be paid within 7 days: all necessary details will be emailed to you.

Once we have received the deposit, the reservation is approved and we will email you any necessary information (including a voucher to present to the property owner or details for obtaining the keys of the apartment/villa). After payment of the deposit cancellation is free within 7 days.

The balance is due, depending on the property owner, either 30 days before the start of the rental period (1) or at arrival of the property (2). For bookings made less than 30 days prior to the start of the rental period, full payment is due at the time of booking (1).

PAYMENT METHODS
We accept direct bank transfer payments within the Europe without any extra charge (SEPA euro wire transfers, check with your bank for local fees).
We also accept various payment methods (credit card, bank transfer,…) through PayPal which is charged extra with 4% of the payment made.

CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be sent by letter, fax or email to the NorthItaly.eu reservation office and, if you have a cancellation policy, to your insurance company.
For any cancellation on the part of the client, the sums withheld by the NorthItaly.eu reservation office are as follows

- 20% of the total amount from the day of reservation to 60th day before arrival
- deposit amount from 59th to 30th day before arrival
- 100% from the 29th day to the day of the arrival
(2):
- 20% of the total amount from the day of reservation to 60th day before arrival
- deposit amount from 59th to 0th day before arrival

INSURANCE
The NorthItaly.eu reservation office does not offer travel protection insurance. You are strongly advised to have insurance to cover potential cancellation or delay.

HOUSE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The final cleaning and other maintenance costs are either included in the rental price or charged as a supplemental cost, as indicated on the booking contract and the property’s web page.
